Company
Background
Cybercom opened for business in May of 1995 with one simple but important
goal, to provide the residents of the Brazos Valley with high quality
Internet access at an affordable price. Providing a favorable alternative
to the slow connections, frequent busy signals, proprietary software, and
confusing billing policies offered by national on-line services, Cybercom
was able to quickly establish itself as a leader in the local market.
Commitment to Excellence
Our commitment to providing local residents with service equal or better
than that available in major markets has lead to an important series of
local firsts by our company. Cybercom was the first local I.S.P. to provide
its customers with a full T-1 connection to the Internet, the first local
I.S.P. to be multi-homed with full T-1's through both MCI and Sprint (to
ensure redundancy and non-interruption of service), and the first local
I.S.P. to utilize (P.R.I.) Primary Rate Interface technology resulting in faster all
digital connections. As of August 1997 we now support both KFlex56 and X2
modem technology for 56K connections. Cybercom is the only local ISP that
supports both standards. Cybercom also is the only local ISP supporting
56k connections on ALL incoming dialup lines.

Experience & Dependability
First and foremost, Cybercom is a service company, and the service we sell
is the Internet. Combine rock-solid technical skills with an almost
obsessive concern for the customer and you have a strategic partner on whom
you can depend. Cybercom's customer service organization is simply the best.
Ask around. We're confident that you'll see this knowledge and commitment in
all of Cybercom's representatives.
